While we've been "AmyD" since 2005, it all really started in 1984 with an apron. My 8th grade Home Ec. teacher had us make aprons for a sewing project and I was hooked. (I ended up getting a "D" in the class but that was partially due to my allowing Mike Travis to cheat off of me on the final and a small kitchen fire.)

I want to make clothes for you because I'm frustrated with finding no clothes worth my money.  You work hard for your money, so I want to make you something worth all your hard work!  Each item is made expecially with you in mind and no two items will be exactly alike. It's not too avant-garde, so that you feel out of place. But they will be talking about you after you leave work, and it will be juicy!
