It all started with an apron. My 8th grade Home Ec. teacher had us make aprons for a sewing project and I was hooked. (I ended up getting a "D" in the class but that was partially due to my allowing Mike Travis to cheat off of me on the final and a small kitchen fire.)

I want to make clothes for you because I'm frustrated with finding no clothes worth my money.  You work hard for your money, so I want to make you something worth all your hard work!  Each item is made expecially with you in mind and no two items will be exactly alike. It's not too avant-garde, so that you feel out of place. But they will be talking about you after you leave work, and it will be juicy!

If you see something you like but it's not your size or not exactly what you are looking for, check out the "Custom Clothing" section for details on how to get something hand made just for you! I create in all sizes. And no, size 10 isn't a large!

Whole Foods started carrying my aprons in November and this has been a huge success. The full and half aprons went flying off the shelves almost as quickly as I was sewing them. The Whole Foods stores located in Dublin and Lane Avenue, in Columbus will continue carrying my aprons and coffee sleeves; and because of your demands, beer aprons will be made available this spring. Also, if you are in Cleveland, your Whole Foods carries AmyD aprons! So go in! Buy local! Try the vegan General Tso's! (Mason, Ohio, your aprons are being made right now and will ship soon!)

My etsy shop is http://amyd.etsy.com and my myspace page is amydclothes!
